Coconut Jazz Ensemble

The Coconut Jazz Ensemble is an exciting and entertaining jazz group whose unique and soulful sound has attracted audiences of all ages. The style of music focused on by the band is “straight ahead” jazz. There are also hints of contemporary and traditional jazz elements as they perform from a vast repertoire of jazz standards, hits, show tunes, Latin and Brazilian Jazz. The band can also include the addition of vocals (male and/or female) and will customize their music selections to perfectly fit your taste and vision. Your guests will be swept away with voices that are smooth and sultry, or jumpy and toe-tappin’ (“Rat Pack” style!).

This acclaimed ensemble provides quality musical entertainment for a variety of special events including private and corporate parties, weddings, concerts and conventions. Ranging in size from one to seven players, the ensemble appears in attire ranging from semi formal to tuxedo, or sleek black to business casual.  They are always a huge hit as they create an atmosphere of soothing elegance for cocktails and dinner, to exciting energy for dancing!

The group contains Southern California’s finest musicians. Each is extremely versatile and highly professional. Their ability to entertain is backed up by their incredibly accomplished musical talents. Collectively, their numerous credits include appearances at Disneyland, the L.A. Classic Jazz Festival and the Jazz Showcase in Chicago. They have also toured extensively in the United States and abroad and include performances in Japan, Brazil and Europe.
