Down Home Boys

The Down Home Boys is an exciting and energetic Western band whose acoustic format and unique sound have attracted audiences of all ages. Their music is a perfect combination of Bluegrass, Hillbilly, Mountain, Appalachian and Cowboy, which is ideal for western themed events and BBQ parties. These professional musicians are also accomplished singers, and their performances come alive with the addition of rich vocal harmonies. They also have the ability to “stroll,” making them even more versatile. However, a sound system is also available, and the volume will always be kept at a low level that is comfortable for everyone. The band appears in western attire, so they look as festive as they sound!

Ranging in size from two to seven players, the group proudly and enthusiastically recreates the music of the strummin’ cowboy trails. Maintaining the integrity and spirit of America’s own music styles, they play on a combination of “old time” traditional instruments such as the fiddle, acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin and string bass.
