New Orleans Party Band

Since its formation in 1991 by drummer, Frank Fakinos, the group has become one of the hardest working traditional jazz groups in Southern California and abroad.

Recreating the intoxicating sounds which originated in America’s “Jazz Age” hot spots, the band’s dynamic presentations are ideal for creating a Roaring 20’s or Mardi Gras atmosphere. The group specializes in hard-driving New Orleans jazz, Dixieland and swing. They will customize their performance to perfectly fit your needs. Whatever the tune, you can be sure of a fun and enthusiastic performance.

The talented musicians in this ensemble are among Southern California’s finest. Collectively, their extensive credits include numerous recordings as well as performances at Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, the L.A. Classic Jazz Festival, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Los Angeles Fair and the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. They have also appeared on stages around the world such as Japan, Brazil and Europe.

Using as few as four to as many as eight musicians, the New Orleans Party Band works in forums as large as concert and convention halls and as small as private parties and picnics. In addition, their ability to “stroll” makes them even more versatile. A sound system is provided upon request, and the group’s attire ranges from festive vests and straw hats to formal tuxedos.
